How To Blank Me.

How to Blank yourself.

how to score your game

Try Blank Me and Blank Yourself without scoring first! It’s great for a great time with friends without establishing comedy superiority. Don’t care? Thats fine too. Need to prove you’re funnier than your friends? Do you think your monologues are better than everyone else’s? Check out ways to score each round and game below!

1. Best in show

Each round, the ‘best’ monologue is decided by majority vote once everyone has had a chance to read. This could be from the best theme of the responses, the funniest fill-in, the best performance of the player, or a combination of all of them!

Keep track of the current winner as they get read out so early reads aren’t at a disadvantage! Once the ‘best’ monologue of that round is decided, its performer flips over the monologue and its response cards and keeps them to the side as a point!

Play to a set number of points (we suggest 3 or more) or play as many rounds as you’d like and see who has the most points at the end!

If there is a tie for points, fight to the death! Or if you don’t want to do that, have each tied player create a new monologue with responses they choose using only the cards that scored them points! All other players vote on the winner based on the final monologues to determine Best in Show!

2. Tally-Ho!

Each player gets a scrap piece of paper (or download our printable scoresheet here) to track scores. After each read, every player other than the performer gives a hidden score of 0-3 based on the responses used, the overall theme, the quality of the performance, or any other ‘wow’ factor.

Keep the scores hidden for each player, and score each round seperately. Once you’ve played 4 rounds, tally up all your scores for each player. Then, every player tallies up all the scores given to them for a final total! The winner is the one with the most points! Have a tie for most points?

It’s time for a head-to-head round! The tied players craft one monologue using Blank Yourself rules then perform them! All players that weren’t tied vote on the winner! Tally-Ho!
