Well, it’s a long weekend here in beautiful British Columbia so we’re running a little behind. Let’s get into it.
This past week we’ve been working to finalize our Kickstarter Prelaunch page. As we announced earlier today we should have the prelaunch page up and running in the next week or two. We’ve gone through a ton of iterations and had a lot of help from outside the spire. The results have been well worth the effort, which you’ll be able to see soon. Now, without further ado, let’s see what the wizards have been up to this week…
I’m jacked to the tits right now because our prototype boxes are set to arriving tomorrow—and through the magic of our four-day delay between writing this and posting this, here they are! They look amazing, or at least I’m going to say that they do and hope that’s the case when they show up in the mail later today. Other than that, did you see the video I posted with the fingerbanging and the elderly people? No not that one, the one where I was just performing a monologue about it? Hope you enjoyed it. Since animations take so long to make, maybe there will be more live reads in the future.
Another busy week working on ongoing tasks, banking and taxes are now taken care of for 2022, a big weight off my mind. I can finally stop pestering the others. Well, about that specifically anyway. I’ve been delving into the Board Game Geek community quite a bit lately, and they are a very helpful bunch. The forums have a ton of resources for creators and players, and they often have tons of component recommendations to improve on your favorite board games. I’ve also been working on an in-depth review of Tiny Epic Galaxies + Expansions, so keep your eyes well lubricated and ready for that on BGG!
This has been a wild week for me outside of Silverspire so I haven’t contributed as much as I sometimes do. As we mentioned above we’ve been working on getting resources together for our prelaunch page. We all came together and pitched our own teaser images which we used to narrow down what exactly we wanted to include. I am pretty happy with the results and very thankful for the talented people we have supporting us. This week I’ll be trying to set aside some time to work on my own projects that I look forward to sharing some on our social media.
I Cast Record episode 1 is cleaned, butchered and packaged. We will be roping down episode 2 this weekend. Crane has provided some bardic inspiration to bring a full intro/outro experience, and I have made sure to leave in all our brainfarts and stumpy thoughts so that you remember than even Wizards fuck up. In addition to bi-weekly episodes, we will also run fully ad free, forever. Spells don’t need funding, and undead work for free!
