Another week, another Sunday! One of the four masters of magic went on a solo-expedition overseas, but for the rest of us, the game development continues on our quest to release Blank Me in May of 2023!
It never ends, and I don’t want it to. We decided it was high-time we sent out a newsletter to update our cult on our progress, and were pleased to report that everything is on track. Mostly this week has been ongoing prep for the Kickstarter launch page, but I enjoy it all. It’s a grind, but we’re starting to see the fruits of our labour–Particularly on the smiling faces of the people who came by Quantum Games in Kelowna as we showed off Blank Me! Turning people away because the game isn’t for sale yet felt bad, but it’s a sign of things to come. People love the game, and that fills me with confidence. Our May Kickstarter can’t come soon enough.
Thanks for contacting Magus Jeff at Silverspire Games. I’m currently on a dragon or away from my athenaeum. I will return any messages left with my owl familiar upon my return.
This week I took a backseat to some of the usual ongoings at the Silverspire. That said, I took some time to start working on my own secret project, a potential stretch goal for Blank ME. It’s exciting stuff! On the other hand, Bungie dropped a pretty awesome expansion which is currently eating all my time. Not that I’m complaining.
On top of world-building for the podcast I have been once more world-building for myself, for a yet-to-be spoiled project that will hopefully span a bunch of things. It’s been play-tested as both a CCG and tabletop skirmish war-game already, but I intend to expand it into a full TTRPG, and maybe even one day, a full scale tabletop war-game. I can’t spoil much other than the fact that it is essentially a secondary world human only high fantasy setting, with a very heavy twist thanks to its unique magic system. I have been building it for what seems like forever now, but the great/worst thing about world-building is you never have to stop.
