Day 1 Recap
Wow, what a launch day!
We had to send an update out to recap day 1, because that was pretty mind-blowing.
To start with, the results: As of end of day yesterday, we were 37% funded! To get that far on day 1 is a phenomenal start, and we’re so incredibly overwhelmed by the response. So while we do like to make a lot of jokes, we’re going to be sincere for a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who pledged their support. We’ve got a ways to go yet, but we’re confident we’ll get there.
Secondly, we wanted to let you know what we were up to yesterday! We wound up spending the whole evening celebrating our launch at our friendly local gaming store, Orchard City Games in West Kelowna, playing Blank Me with the public. Some kind folks from Extralife who run tabletop gaming events for charitable causes really enjoyed the game and invited us to attend an upcoming fundraiser to raise money for BC Children’s Hospital. Of course, we jumped at the chance. We’ll have more on that later I’m sure, but for now, here’s a snapshot of last night.
